Hello all!
I know the review for this tour has been delayed a couple of days. I honestly don't know what to say about it. It's one of the most obscure shows I've attended.

Ok, the show was at Tomcats, a venue in Ft. Worth. I live in the Dallas area so it initially took an hour and a half to get there. When we arrived a band already played, but it was fine. Ok so this is like what threw me off about this whole thing, its like a weird dive bar. Smoking is legal indoors in Ft. Worth so it was like a big smoky brown weird building that had a horrible vibe. I mean it's still better than trees ;)
So we waited around, and saw Capture the Crown and Ice Nine Kills. They both have such a nice stage presence. After that I actually met one of my friends from Twitter. We've been wanting to meet up for agesss and it was just a coincidence that she was there! It was a lovely surprise.
Everyone knows how much I adore For All Those Sleeping. They were the whole reason I went. Their set was not good. Firstly, Mike was absent due to a family problem, so someone filled in for him. I think Jerad should of just done his vocals to be honest. Their setlist was so nice though, they played Life on Fire and Outbreak of Heartache. It too was a nice surprise.
I See Stars played after. It was my first time seeing them, and they were crazy. There were people crowd surfing, climbing on the ceiling (its vaulted so you can hang from them) and just feeling the vibe. We left mid-set to scope out the merch area, and found our biffles David and London from FATS. We've met them 4 times, and every time they remember us and treat us like friends. It's so nice. London was so drunk though. We talked to them for a while and they gave us literal bear hugs. It was so perfect. We then left, came back and watched the rest of ISS' set. When they played The Common Hours I wanted to cry.
After that, I experienced my first meal at In-N-Out ((it was very good)) and went home.
It was over all a good time, but there's something about vibes and auras and feelings that throw things off for me ((a gift from my very spiritual grandmother)).
FATS is touring in April with Chunk! No Captain Chunk and Upon This Dawning, so be prepared for that one ;)
