My green hair!

Good evening all!

This post is basically about my hair because it's really pretty and no one has seen it yet!

So basically My hair has been blue for 5 days, and the color is still vivid as can be!

To achieve blue locks, I had to bleach my hair using a 40 developer (which is very bad for your hair never do it) and Clairol Basic White Lightener. I applied it and it surprisingly only took 30 minutes to go from very dark brown to an orange-y yellow collor.

I then washed out the bleach, and applied the dye immediately after, it's not mandatory, but I prefer applying wet than dry. 

The dye I used is Manic Panic Shocking Blue. Since I didn't tone my hair after bleaching the end result was very similar to Atomic Turquoise. 

Anywho~ I left the dye in for about 9 hours. I wrapped my hair in a shower cap, secured it with an elastic, and went right to bed! I think everyone should leave their dye in for that amount of time, because the result is beautimous! 

((Disclaimer~ if you're using a box dye don't leave it on for more than an hour because there are harsh chemicals that ruin your hair.))

it looks very green eek!

Aftercare: After any dye job you should invest in a deep conditioner, or do as I do and take a nice handful of conditioner with a color guard, apply it generously, and leave it in for an hour or two. It makes your hair so silky smooth!
